Formal Dances - Members and Guests

The attire for ladies is a cocktail gown or formal evening wear. For gentlemen, a tuxedo and formal shirt is preferred but a dark suit, dress shirt and tie is acceptable. Gentlemen are requested to keep their jackets on until after the first break. Casual attire is not appropriate!

Casual Dances - Members and Guests

The Bozeman Formal Dance Club frequently has casual dances. Attire for these events is "dressy" casual--- please no jeans.

New Year's Eve - Members and Guests

For the New Year's Eve dance the attire is festive---very dressy but not necessarily formal although a majority of dancers will be in formal attire.

Shoes

Shoes with smooth leather soles or dance shoes make dancing easier and more enjoyable. Dancers are requested to change from street shoes to dance shoes when they arrive to avoid tracing mud, dirt or snow onto the dance floor.
